Also known as the Etzel, a Hebrew acronym for «The National Military Organization in the Land of Israel,» the organization’s philosophy was based on the Revisionist Zionism of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, and it worked actively against both the British and the Arabs to increase Jewish immigration, settlement and security in the Land of Israel.
