Written following the April 2019 elections, this article from the Jerusalem Post explores how young Israeli Jews have become more conservative over the years, especially in regards to issues of security and Jewish sovereignty. Citing polls on the subject, the article suggests various reasons for this trend, including the fact that a large percentage of Israel’s youth are religious, they grew up after the failed Peace Process, and they lived through the Second Intifada and the wars with Gaza following the Disengagement.
