Latrún
Ubicado en la carretera principal que va de Tel Aviv a Jerusalén, Latrun fue un sitio de importantes batallas militares entre 1948 y 1967, año en el que fue ocupado con éxito por Israel en la Guerra de los Seis Días. Hoy en día, el Fondo Nacional Judío recuerda las grandes pérdidas sufridas en Latrun mediante el mantenimiento del cercano bosque de Hulda y la casa Herzl, así como con la conservación de un sendero especial en el parque Ayalon que narra la historia de las batallas.
